This was a fabulous HOT CONCEPT
Event! Chef Jeremy Peters' class at Cypress College prepared
this wonderful meal and served our members & guests at their
cooking stations. The presentation of each entrée, the
artisan cheeses & breads & farmer's market crudités
was truly amazing to the eye and delightful to the taste. Simply
tantalizing. Chef Jeremy Peters was our Speaker during the serving
of the scrumptious desserts. He spoke to us about his challenges
and rewards and commitment throughout his career, which has included
Executive Banquet Chef for Disney's Grand Californian Hotel,
instructing at Orange Coast College, and Coaching for the A.C.F.
Junior Hot Food Team for OCC since 2000 to present. Chef Peters
exemplifies leadership qualities and professionalism all the
while with a relaxed charming personality. As he led us on our
"Journey Down Route 29" while we were oohing and aahing
the food, enjoying the wine, watching the students prepare &
complete the presentations, he said, "My student's success
is my reward." Well, he certainly has been rewarded, Kudo's
to those students!
